Let's get both the OKC and Stillwater Chapters together to watch a great re-enactment of the Battle of Round Mountain which happened in Yale, OK and then tour the Childhood home of 1912 Olympian Jim Thorpe.  Later there will be a Civil War Era Ball at the Yale Elementary School with people in costumes dancing.

There is a $5.00 Cover Charge for the Battle Re-enactment.

Here are all the details:

At 3:30 p.m., after the re-enactment has ended we will drive to the 1912 Olympian Jim Thorpe's Childhood which is also in Yale, OK. The tours have free admission.

After touring Jim Thorpes home we will probably head to a restaurant for sit down dinner or at least cold beverage before we head to the Yale Elementary School for a Civil War Era Ball at 7:00 p.m..  Anyone who is willing to dress in a ball gown can join in dancing with others who are in costume.

We will finish out the evening at Zannottis Wine Bar 9:00 p.m.
